BRIAN C. JONES
DUDLEY -- Brian Christopher Jones, 30, of 1065 Sleepy Creek Road, died Sunday.
He was born in Wayne County to Raymond "Buck" and Betty Edwards Jones and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mount Olive.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tonya Grimes Jones; daughter, Kaylee Brianne Jones of the home; his grandmother, Lois Pender of Dudley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joey and Lynne Jones of Dudley and Mike and Angie Jones of Dudley; brother-in-law, Chris Land of Lenoir; father-in-law, Steve Land, and his wife Elaine, of Lenoir; mother-in-law, Terry Grimes of Dudley; nieces and nephews, Blake Jones, Dana Jones, Raven Jones, Brooke Jones, Candy Jones and Brandy Jones, all of Dudley; and numerous aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Nolan Wiggins will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
