FAISON -- The funeral for Mary Powell Richardson, 73, will be held by the graveside on Friday morning at 11 at Cobbs Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Armstrong will conduct the service.
Mrs. Richardson died Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband, Fester "Shorty" Richardson of the home in Chocowinity; three brothers, Peter Powell, Wilbert Powell and John Powell; five sisters, Diana Powell, Betsy Powell, Bertha Powell, Pauline Powell and Faye Powell; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be on Friday morning from 9 until 10 at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
