THOMAS PARKS
MOUNT OLIVE -- Thomas Carlton Parks, 56, died Friday. He was a millwright worker with Prestage Farms.
Funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cliff Hardwood officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Barbara Cox Parks; his mother, Dollie Mae Hill Strickland of Nashville, N.C.; one son, Michael Carlton Parks and wife, Paula of Mount Olive; one daughter, Angela P. Remines of Seven Springs; one sister, Annette Owens of Maccelsfield; and three grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, and Emily Remines.
He is preceded in death by his father, J.C. Parks, and one brother, Billy Ray Parks.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
