JOYCE SMITH McCLLURE
A Celebration of Life service for Joyce Ann Smith McClure, 68, of Arlington, Va., will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church in the Rosewood community. The Rev. Billy Olsen will officiate. She died Friday in Arlington.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of Velma Gregory Smith of the Brian Center of Goldsboro and the late Relmon S. Smith.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. McClure is survived by her husband, Joseph A. McClure of the home; daughter, Katie McClure and friend Dana Daum of Chapel Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Mary McClure, and granddaughter, Cody, of Fairbanks, Alaska; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lehman and Polly Smith and Jack and Ann Smith, all of Goldsboro; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Roger Harkey of Charlotte, LaNell and Danny Evans of Goldsboro and Debbie and Jim Creech of Greenville; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service on Thursday.
