ANNIE PHILLIPS
PRINCETON -- Annie Bell Parnell Phillips, 84, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
She was the daughter of the late Dock Franklin and Ellen Davis Parnell and was the widow of Ransom Phillips.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Ray and Norma Jean Phillips of Princeton, Dock Randy and Peggy Phillips of Pikeville and Jimmy Earl and Kathy Phillips of Princeton; six daughters and sons-in-law, Mollie Ellen and Joe Baker of Pikeville, Marjorie Gray Luper of Kenly, Patricia Ann and William Logan Hinnant Jr. of Princeton, Shirley Kaye and Roger Toler of Princeton, Barbara Faye and Danny Earl Corbett of Princeton; Becky Marie and Danny Heath of Princeton; five sisters, Iona Bailey of Pikeville, Gladys Summerlin of Fremont, Gloria Talton of Princeton, Mary Bell Shallington of Princeton and Martha Price of Fremont; and 28 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Ralph Parker and the Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate. Burial will be in Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Hinnant, Jason Toler, Brandon Thomas, Ransom Phillips, Viking Phillips and Tony Jacobs.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Casey Funeral Home, and other times at the residence at 185 Arrowhead Drive, Princeton.
