MARGARET WILLIAMS
Margaret Ayers Williams, 75, of 204 Brookwood Drive, died Monday at her home.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. The Reverend Mark Woolard will officiate. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Oak City Cemetery in Oak City, N.C.
Mrs. Williams was born in Martin County on Sept. 21, 1928, to the late George W. Ayers Sr. and Nora Ayers. She was a member of Stoneybrook Church of Christ in Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Elton W. Williams of the home; one son, Joseph Victor Williams and wife, Terry, of Yorktown, Va.; one daughter, Sandra Lynne Williams of the home; one brother, George W. Ayers Jr. and wife, Jean, of Hassell, N.C.; one sister, Gertrude Crisp of Portsmouth, Va.; and three grandchildren, Joey Williams, Ben Williams and Megan Williams.
The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday night at Howell Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
