MARY GAINES
MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Mary Lillie Gaines, 81, of 104 Young Drive, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Payne Temple A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Johnny B. Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gaines died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Ingram of LaGrange; five sons, Willie Gaines of Goldsboro, Henry Gaines of Newark, N.J., Allen Pete Gaines of Dudley and Billy Gaines and Bobby Lee Gaines Sr. of Mount Olive; and 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
