RANSOME WATKINS
KENLY -- Ransome "Junior" Watkins, 69, of 211 Corbett Avenue, died Friday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife, Ruth Finch Watkins; one daughter, Helen W. Newsome of Selma; two sons, Ransome Watkins of Pine Level and David Watkins of Kenly; one sister, Elizabeth Jones of Goldsboro; one brother, Howard Watkins of Kenly, and one grandson, Adam Newsome.
A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Coley Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Melvin Narron and the Rev. Kenneth Weaver will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kenly Cemetery.
