WILLIAM HARRELL
FAYETTEVILLE -- William O. Harrell, 59, died Thursday.
He was a native of Grantham and was the son of the late Oliver Lee and Anna Harrell. He was a residential building contractor for 21 years.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Harrell of the home; a daughter, Beth Gurganious of Newton Grove; two sons, Gregory W. Harrell and Steven M. Harrell, both of the home; a brother, Dennis Harrell of Raleigh; a sister, Joyce Strickland of Grantham; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Olson officiating. Burial was in Lafayette Memorial Park.
The family received friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
