ALENE G. BAKER
MOUNT OLIVE -- Alene Grady Baker, 79, died Friday.
She was the daughter of the late Tobe and Bertie Potts Grady and widow of the late Albert Leroy Baker. She was retired from Mt. Olive Pickle Co.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
She is survived by one son, C.L. Baker and wife Elda of Goldsboro; one daughter, Loretta B. Vinson and husband Pete of Mount Olive; two sisters, Louise Reaves of Grantham and Bettie Mae McCullen of Goldsboro; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 until 6 p.m., and at other times they will be at the home at 107 N. Southerland St., Mount Olive.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro or to Jones Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mount Olive.
