MARVIN R. LEE
SNOW HILL -- Marvin Ray Lee, 63, of 1784 Hwy. 258 S., Snow Hill, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston. He was retired from P&D Precast in LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Lee and Mariah Jarman Lee; brothers, Bobby Lee, Floyd Lee and Frank Lee and a sister, Delsie Lee.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol Harper Lee of the home; three daughters, Sharon Lee Mims and husband, Tom, of Newport, N.C., Shelia Lee Stark of Lantanna, Fla., and Tracey Lee Wise and husband, Corporal Richard Wise, of New Bern; one son, Gary Lee and wife, Debbie, of Cape Carteret; seven grandchildren, Adam and Lindsey Stark, Richard Wise, II, Eric Lee and Jeffrey Lee, Trey Traub and D. J. Kite; two sisters, Pearl Quinn of Kinston and Marie King of Albertson; and one brother, Allen Lee of Kinston; also special friends, Bruce and Rose Smith of LaGrange and Ronnie and Dale Manning of Snow Hill.
The funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston, with the Reverend Charles Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
