FAYE W. STAFFORD
Faye Wiggs Stafford, 70, of 1709 Middleton Road died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Addie Pittman Wiggs and the wife of Edgar Earl Stafford Sr. She was a retired teacher's assistant with the Wayne County elementary school system with twenty years of service and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Frasher officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Kathryn Stafford of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Brandi Forby and husband David of Princeton and Kevin Stafford and wife Jo An of Phoenix, Arizona; her brother, James Wiggs of Selma; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
