RUTH B. TART
BENSON -- Mrs. Ruth Barefoot Tart, 76, of 395 Noah Road died Thursday.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Newton Grove Methodist Church, Newton Grove.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove.
She is survived by her husband, H.B. "Bo" Tart Jr. of the home; son, Hue Tart of Benson; daughter, Sue Justis of Morristown, Tenn.; brother, C.C. "Cub" Barefoot of Benson; sisters, Christine Barefoot of Benson, Mildred Barefoot of Newton Grove and Pauline Davis of Morristown, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver H. and Thenie K. Barefoot; a sister, Melvin Barefoot; brothers, Noah Barefoot, Ayden Barefoot, Owen Barefoot and Charlie Davis.
Memorials may be made to Newton Grove Methodist Church, P.O. Box 471, Newton Grove, 28366 or to a charity of one's choice.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at the Tart home.
