FAISON -- The funeral for Johnnie Lee Warren Sr., 71, of 3554 Preacher Henry Road, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Piney Green Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, in Clinton. Elder Craig Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Warren died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and EmmaJane Hargrove Warren, and is survived by his wife, Minnie Warren of the home; three sons, Johnnie Warren Jr. of University City, Texas, Willie Ray Warren of Faison, and Robert Earl Warren of Fayetteville; three daughters, Emma Jean Hines of Salemburg, Edna Rose Warren of Rose Hill and Shelia Fay Warren of Mount Olive; and 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and the family will be there from 6 until 7 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
