SADIE FLANAGAN
The funeral for Sadie L. Flanagan will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Best Chapel Free will Baptist Church. The Reverends William Waters and Tyrone Turnage will officiate. Burial will be in Flanagan Family Cemetery.
Surviving are eight daughters, Louise Johnson, Emma Lane, Addie Atkinson and Clarice Jones of Goldsboro, Thelma Locklair of Greenville, Donnie Miles of Mount Olive, Pamela Atkinson of Princeton and Katie F. Lewis of the home; one son, Ralph Flanagan Sr. of Goldsboro; three sisters, Chanie Nealous of Goldsboro and Minnie High and Hattie Greene of Philadelphia, Pa.; and 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 46 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 1 until 8 p.m. today at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home and the family will be there to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
