IDA L. BRINSON
DUDLEY -- Funeral services for Mother Ida Lee Brinson, 74, of 404 Rollingwood Drive, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Northeast Original Free Will Baptist Church, Mount Olive, with Bishop L.N. Forbes and Elder Edmond Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park, Mount Olive.
Mrs. Brinson died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
She was a loyal member of St. John Original Free Will Baptist Church, Mount Olive.
She is survived by five sons, Elder Nathan Brinson and wife Annie and Elder Kermit Brinson and wife Naomi, of Dudley Andrew Brinson of Wilson, John Brinson and wife Margaret of Goldsboro, and Clarence Brinson of Goldsboro; two daughters, Elderess Delois Moore of Dudley and Iris Doctor of Sharpsburg, N.C.; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Clyde Brinson of Dudley and Mrs. Helen Brinson of Washington, D.C.
The viewing will be today from 2 until 5 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
An inspirational wake will be held tonight from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at St. John Original Free Will Baptist Church in the Beautancus community, near Mount Olive.
At other times the family will receive friends at the home.
