LORRI S. MILLER
Lorri Sloan Miller, 49, of 110 Ironwood Road, died Wednesday at her home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Ralph Painter officiating.
A native of Wayne County, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of Keith Sloan Jr. and the late Esther Lovette Sloan and the widow of Alan Kent Miller. She worked at Wayne Memorial Hospital as a licensed practical nurse for over 12 years.
In addition to her father, she is survived by son, Samuel Ashington Miller of Goldsboro; a daughter, Heather Miller Macanas and husband, Mac, of Goldsboro; a sister, Judy Galey and husband, Ed, and their family of Morganton; and four grandchildren, Michael Macanas, Ciara Macanas, Alexis Macanas and Jacob Macanas.
She was preceded death by a brother, Joel Kim Sloan.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc.
