EDWARD EARL HARPER
A funeral service for Mr. Edward Earl Harper is scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery on U.S. Highway 117. Bishop D.L. McIntyre will officiate.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his father, Elijah Harper.
He is survived by his sons, Derk Harper and Jamel Cox, both of Baltimore, Md.; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Pitt of Goldsboro; six brothers, J. R. Pitt Jr. of Pikeville, John Pitt of Fremont, Demarcus Pitt of Hawaii, Monty Pitt, Ted Pitt and Cedric Coley, all of Goldsboro; five daughters, Amanda Pitt, Maria Ruffin, and Madelyn Pitt, all of Fremont, Deborah Cox, Francine Coley, both of Goldsboro; one grandchild, and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. this evening.
