REV. JOSEPH ANDERSON
LAGRANGE -- The Rev. Joseph Leon Anderson, 55, of 3795 Ed Herring Road, died Tuesday at his home.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 at the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1011 University St., Kinston. Elder Arthur Loftin will officiate. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson is survived by one son, Joseph Leon Anderson III of the home; five sisters, Deborah A. Outlaw of Laurel, Md., Lorraine Anderson of Washington, D.C., Cynthia Anderson of Landover, Md., and Gwendolyn Anderson and Verlean Anderson of LaGrange; three brothers, Clinton Ray Anderson of Detroit, Mich., Ronnie Lee Anderson of Washington and Mingo Earl Davis of LaGrange; and one grandchild.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at Lane's Funeral Home in Kinston. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
