MARY K. HESS
Mary Kathryn Hess, 75, of 1720 O'Berry Center Road, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Hess was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late James Edgar George and Rena Jane Hill George. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in West Virginia and was past employed with Union Carbide in South Charleston, West Virginia.
She is survived by three sons, Mark Hess and Harold Joe Hess of Goldsboro and Steven Craig Hess of Virginia Beach, Va; two daughters, Audra Jane Conners of Charleston, West Virginia and Cynthia Mae Chavez of Tacoma, Washington; two brothers, Donald George of Cameron, Louisiana and Robert George of Leichester, England; one sister, Patricia Slider of Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
