CLARA M. AUSTIN
NEWTON GROVE -- Mrs. Clara McLamb Austin, 86, of 280 Austin Lane died Thursday.
Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Unity Presbyterian Church, Newton Grove. The Rev. Millie Vergeer and the Rev. Robert Brozina will officiate. Burial will follow in Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Austin of Newton Grove and William Charles Austin of Four Oaks; daughters, Rebecca O'Dell of Newton Grove and Kathy Eldridge of Newton Grove; sisters, Grethel Boyette of Kenly and Lena Kinlaw of Altavista, Va.; brother, O.L. "Buck" McLamb of Four Oaks; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Family received friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m.
