EULA DAIL
Eula Sutton Dail, 76, of 4395 Aldridge Store Road, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Mrs. Dail was born in Lenoir County to the late Francesco Sutton and Mary Beulah Jackson Sutton and was the widow of Lee Edward Dail. She had worked as a secretary for the City of Kinston School System for over 15 years and was the manager of The Meadows and The Village apartments in LaGrange. Mrs. Dail was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Kinston, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, was assistant teacher of the Ily Smith Bible Class and was assistant Sunday school superintendent. She was also a member of the Home League at the Salvation Army in Kinston.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Hines officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
Mrs. Dail is survived by one daughter, Joy O'Neal Clements and husband, Ricky, of LaGrange; one son, Gene O'Neal and wife, Kathleen Tate, of Fairview; one grandson, Dennis C. O'Neal II of LaGrange; one sister, Beulah Henry of LaGrange; a special daughter-in-law, Brenda Faulk of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Ida Sutton of Kinston; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis O'Neal, and two brothers, Clifton Sutton and Bruce Sutton.
The family will receive friends tonight following the service, and other times at the residence.
