EARL SASSER
SEVEN SPRINGS -- Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Earl Stewart Sasser died in Los Alamos, New Mexico. on Wednesday.
He was a native of the Indian Springs community of Wayne County and was the son of the late Thaddeus and Elizabeth Herring Sasser.
The funeral will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Burial will be in the Sasser Family Cemetery in the Daly community.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to any local veterans organization.
