OLLIE GRIMES
Ollie Eugene Grimes, 74, of 479 Old Mount Olive Hwy., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Joe and Sally Bottoms Grimes and was married to the late Gladys Gurley Grimes.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Grimes is survived by two sons, Phillip Eugene Grimes and of Dudley and David Michael Grimes and his wife Dawn of Stantonsburg; his grandchildren, Nicole Grimes, Megan Grimes, Ashley Grimes, Kyle Grimes, Madison Wheeler and Katie Wheeler; two brothers, Richard Grimes of Pikeville and David Grimes of Stantonsburg; and two sisters, Becky Grimes Holland of Goldsboro and Celeste Combs of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Michael Grimes, 6206 Hwy. 58 South, Stantonsburg.
