JIMMY FERGUSON SR.
Jimmy Claude Ferguson Sr., 66, of 104 Daleview Drive died Sunday at home.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory with Stephen R. Howell presiding.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on Nov. 20, 1937, to the late Claude and Blanche Ramey Ferguson. He was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Ham Radio Club, Wayne County Amateur Radio Association, and the Goldsboro Amateur Radio Club. Mr. Ferguson was retired from Flowers Bakery.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Margaret Irene Ferguson; one son, Jimmy Claude Ferguson Jr. of Goldsboro; three daughters, Diane Cravens of Chesapeake, Va., Deena Reed of Greenville, Va. and Stacey Brock of Goldsboro; two brothers, Danny Ferguson of Bluefield, Va., and Stanley Ferguson both of Bluefield, W.Va.; one sister, Shelby Oliver of Hahnville, La.; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Wednesday night at the funeral home.
