Welcome Back Dillard Tigers

Operation Unite Goldsboro will host its second annual welcome back greeting for Dillard Middle School students and staff Monday at 8 a.m.
The Dillard Middle School rally, at 1101 Devereaux St., is open to the public, and event organizers are asking for a strong turnout, in an effort to encourage students to succeed in school.
"As a community, we always say how important education is, and this is a way to let our children know that we truly value education, and we are here for them," said Mark Colebrook, founder of Operation Unite Goldsboro. "So please come on out with your signs, noise makers and cheers to welcome them back."
Last year, the close to 50 people showed their support by attending the Welcome Back Dillard Tigers rally. Colebrook expects a greater turnout this year.
