Mount Olive search nets drug arrests

MOUNT OLIVE -- A search of a Mount Olive area home has resulted in several drug charges.
Gregory Scott Harrison, 38, of 677 Pineview Cemetery Road, has been charged with one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, three counts of possession of meth precursor, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was placed under a $35,000 secured bond.
Mary Oliva Foy, 26, also of 677 Pineview Cemetery Road, has been charged with three counts of possession of meth precursor, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was given a $30,000 secured bond.
On Tuesday, July 24, officers with the North Carolina Department of Probation and Parole conducted a warrantless search of Foy's residence under the conditions of her probation.
During the search, officers located approximately 50 dosage units of heroin, precursor chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Members of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit were contacted for assistance.
