Sheriff's office searching for runaway teen

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing teen whom law enforcement says ran away from home over the weekend.
Fifteen-year-old Ashanti Dyzare Harper has been missing since Sunday, July 22, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. It is estimated that she ran away at 2 a.m., while her aunt was at work.
According to the press release, Ashanti had been staying with her aunt for the summer. Her family believes that she had been in communication with an unknown black male whom she met on Instagram. Family members said the male told Ashanti that he is 17 years-old.
Ashanti is a military dependent and has lived in New Jersey and Fayetteville. Her family and friends have not heard from or seen her since Sunday, and her Instagram and Snapchat accounts have been closed or restricted.
Ashanti is described as a Black female standing around 4'10" and weighing 110 lbs. She has a light complexion with long black hair extensions, and was last seen wearing a pink coat and dark pants.
The male is this case is described as a tall, skinny, black male with a lot of tattoos.
