Time for the book sale

Rose Waters, library assistant, sorts through donated books for the upcoming annual Friends of the Library book sale, to be held at the main branch of the library on Ash Street next month. The five-day sale will feature a wide assortment of books and videos from a wide variety of genres, from religion and military history to books of fiction and self-help. Donations are being accepted through March 26. The sale kicks off on Tuesday, April 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a members only preview sale but memberships to the Friends of the Library will also be available for purchase. The public sale will be held Wednesday through Saturday, April 4-7, at the following hours: Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Thursday from noon until 6 p.m.; Friday from noon until 5 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
