About 90 teens attend Thursday's information session for the Goldsboro summer job program at Wayne Community College.

Goldsboro teenagers filled the Moffatt Auditorium at Wayne Community College Thursday for the second information session held for the Goldsboro summer youth employment program.

The mandatory session, of which attendance is required for consideration of employment, offered interested teens with details about the program, including its benefits, pay and eligibility criteria.

Teens, between the ages of 14 and 18, can apply for one of the near 50 jobs through the city of Goldsboro's website. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 9.

The jobs pay $7.25 per hour and include a 20-hour work week during one of two six-week periods, June 11-July 20 or July 9-Aug. 18.

The jobs vary and include office work, light labor and recreation support. The hiring decisions will be finalized in May.
