Jingle in the Park, originally planned on Dec. 8 and 9 but canceled due to adverse weather, will take place on Dec. 20 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Herman Park. The no-cost event, hosted by the Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department, includes ice skating, outdoor movies, a candy cane hunt, s'mores, hayrides, funnel cakes and on-site food trucks.
"Jingle in the Park is one of our department's favorite events that we host throughout the year," said Lynn Grantham, Goldsboro Parks and Recreation marketing and special events leader. "We were disappointed the weather didn't cooperate for the original scheduled date but are excited to offer the same activities on Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 3 to 7 p.m."
