Law enforcement officers found five concealed weapons inside a car they stopped Sunday and charged a validated gang member with altering the serial number of one of them.

D'Qurious Bradford, 19, of 119 Astor Court, is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, altering/removing a gun serial number, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct from an order for his arrest.

Members of the Goldsboro/Wayne Regional Enforcement and Crime Targeting (REACT) Team stopped the car Bradford was a passenger in for an equipment violation.

Officers reportedly spotted a portion of a concealed assault rifle in the passenger area when they made initial contact with the driver.

They asked the people inside the vehicle if there were any weapons or items inside the car that could pose a threat to law enforcement.

Everyone inside the car reportedly said no, so law enforcement searched the car and the people, since they had seen the rifle partially concealed.

Officers found four handguns and an AR-15 rifle, and also found a handgun with an altered serial number under Bradford's seat.

The gun was reportedly stolen out of Lenoir County, and officers arrested and charged Bradford accordingly.

Kenya Floyd and Jyrus Langston were issued citations for carrying concealed weapons and possession of a firearm by a minor.

More charges are pending.
