Two men arrested for cocaine-related offenses

Wayne County Sheriff's Office found cocaine on two men during separate arrests Wednesday.
According to a press release, the Wayne County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team along with SWAT Team members executed a search warrant at the home of Samuel Gales Jr., 78, of 4557 N.C. 111 S. Seven Springs.
After receiving multiple complaints from Crime Stoppers, the ACE Team and SWAT Team entered Gales' home and discovered 10 grams of cocaine and a firearm.
Gales was arrested, and he received a $15,000 unsecured bond.
He is charged with possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, possession of a firearm by felon.
Maj. Tom Effler could not confirm the type of gun in Gales' possession.
The ACE Team were conducting a traffic stop near the area of Buck Swamp Road when the team searched the vehicle of Lonnie Coley III, 34, of 119 Hook's River Road.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers found nearly two ounces of crack cocaine.
Coley was arrested, and he placed under a $300,000 secured bond.
He is charged with trafficking cocaine by possession, trafficking cocaine by transportation, felony maintaining a vehicle and possession of marijuana.
