Old Calypso Fire Department building burns

A fire broke out in an abandoned building in Calypso today.
The structure, at the corner of Center and Trade streets, used to house the Calypso Hardware Store and the Calypso Fire Department.
Calypso and Mount Olive fire departments responded, and used ladder trucks to dump water on the blaze from above.
So far there have been no reports of injury, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
