Goldsboro Disaster Recovery Resource Fair Saturday

A Goldsboro Disaster Recovery Resource Fair will be held Saturday for homeowners, renters and business owners with flood damage from Hurricane Matthew flooding.
Information and guidance regarding the next step of recovery will be offered at the fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Goldsboro Event Center, 1501 S. Slocumb St.
Disaster recovery specialists will be available to talk one-on-one about a variety of issues facing property owners and renters. Bilingual and American Sign Language interpreters will be available.
Topics that will be discussed include housing resources, sheltering at home, flood insurance, foreclosure prevention, housing counseling, title issues, legal services, disaster tax relief and various types of loans.
The fair includes participation from N.C. Emergency Management, N.C. Legal Aid, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Small Business Administration, American Red Cross, Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Flood Insurance Program.
