Crime of the Week

On Monday at 1:35 p.m., Goldsboro Police Department responded to 214 Holly Road in reference to a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle.

The victims, Cynthia and Donald Ballard, said at about 2:30 a.m. they were awakened by their dog barking. When it was let outside it ran to part of the back corner of the fence and acted strange

The victim later checked the video security footage and found that an unknown male entered through a gap in the fence. The suspect then entered the unsecured vehicle and stole a black Ruger P90 .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun. The suspect left through the same gap in the fence.
