The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating shots fired into a home in Dudley early Saturday morning that left nobody injured.
According to an incident report, 54-year-old Tomas Reyes was lying in bed at his home at 111 Georgia Farms Road around 3 a.m. Saturday when he heard a gunshot outside and then the glass door to his shower shatter.
The report said Reyes got out of bed and found a hole in his bath tub, the glass shower door and the inside of his shower wall.
Reyes told authorities he had just gotten out of the shower around 10 minutes before the shot, the report said.
According to the report, Reyes told deputies his neighbor has been known to shoot guns in the area but said he has never had a problem with the neighbor.
Deputies found a small-caliber bullet lodged in the shower wall, the report said.
