Wayne County Sheriff's Office SWAT team members, along with U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations agents and Goldsboro Police Department VICE unit officers conducted a drug raid on a house at 1804 South Slocumb Street in Goldsboro, Friday. The raid was the second such operation of the day and resulted in four arrests.

Local and federal authorities raided a house on South Slocumb Street in Goldsboro this morning after receiving information from a confidential informant about heroin and crack cocaine being sold out of the residence to the community and possibly to military personnel.

The raid at 1804 S. Slocumb St. marked the second drug-related raid today, the first of which took place at the Days Inn off of U.S. 70 Bypass East earlier this morning.

In that instance, law enforcement had been tipped off to alleged methamphetamine sales from a hotel room.

The U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base assisted with both raids, and the Goldsboro Police Department's VICE Unit assisted with the second.

Wayne County Sheriff's Office SWAT team member Jerimee Hooker said six people were inside the Slocumb Street house at the time of the search, around 10 a.m., four of whom were charged.

"We received information from a confidential informant that they were selling heroin and crack cocaine from the residence," Hooker said.

Kimberly Harbille is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeff Patrick Sr., Jeff Patrick Jr. and Tony Patrick are each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hooker said the other two people inside the house were both women -- one elderly -- and they were not charged with any crimes.

Hooker said that while authorities raided the house based on information about heroin and crack cocaine sales, they  recovered around half a gram of methamphetamine during the search. He confirmed OSI was on scene to aid with the investigation into the possible sale of drugs to military personnel.

The two raids were not connected, though they were similar in nature, Hooker added.

"It was a different operation," he said.

OSI personnel searched a silver Subaru outside the house while a woman in gray sweatpants and a green fleece jacket was detained.

SWAT team members searched a gold Pontiac also parked outside the house.

The house is located in the center of three churches that surround it -- the Church of Christ, Bible Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters.

Authorities cleared the scene around noon Friday after recovering empty bindles and glass pipes in addition to the methamphetamine.
