Local, state offices to close for holidays

Local, state and federal offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.
State offices will be closed Dec. 23, 26, 27 and Jan. 2 while federal offices, banks and post offices will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2
Wayne County Public Schools will dismiss early Dec. 20 and will be closed Dec. 21 through Jan. 2. The school system's central offices will be closed Dec. 23, 26, 27 and Jan. 2.
Wayne County offices will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 27.
The landfill and convenience centers will be closed Dec. 24 and Jan. 2.
The Wayne County Public Library will close nightly at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 through Dec. 22 and will close at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 23. It will be closed Dec. 24 through Dec. 27.
The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 27.
City of Goldsboro offices will be closed for Christmas on Dec. 23 and Dec. 28 and Jan. 2 in observance of New Year's Day.
All solid waste services for Friday, Dec. 23, will be serviced on Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the city of Goldsboro. Solid waste services for Monday, Dec. 26, will be serviced on Wednesday, Dec. 28. Solid waste pickup originally set for Monday, Jan. 2, will be serviced instead on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
Mount Olive offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Jan. 2.
Household garbage pickup will not be affected either week.
Yard waste pickup will be moved up by one day on the week of December 19. Thursday's route will be picked up on Wednesday and Friday's route will be picked up on Thursday.
The week of Dec. 26, Monday's route will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 28 and Tuesday's route will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 29.
Walnut Creek town offices will be closed Dec. 23 and 26 and Jan. 2.
Seven Springs Town Hall will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Pikeville Town Hall will be closed Dec. 26 and 27.
Fremont Town Hall will be closed Dec. 23 and 26.
Carolina Southern Sanitation will operate on a normal schedule for both the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
