Taste of Wayne postponed due to rain

United Way of Wayne County's 26th Annual Taste of Wayne County has been postponed until Saturday, October 15 due to the uncertainty surrounding Hurricane Matthew.
The event will be held at 200 North Center Street (City Hall block) from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Enjoy an afternoon sampling local restaurants' food and enjoying live music from DJ Johnnie Carr. New this year is a Kid Zone with inflatables and face painting which is free with a paid adult admission.
Tickets are $15 per person and children 6 and are free. Tickets are on sale at the following locations: Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation, Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Zaxby's, the United Way Office, and online at www.tasteofwayne.com.
If you have already purchased a ticket it will be honored on re-scheduled date of October 15.
