Apartment is hit with gunshots

Someone reportedly shot into an apartment at 402 S. William St. early Wednesday morning while a family was inside.
According to a police report, Travis Davis and Latosa Pixsley were inside an apartment at 402 S. William St. with their children when shots were fired into their residence just after 2:30 a.m.
Officers were alerted to the shooting by the city's ShotSpotter system, which automatically detects and reports gunshots to police.
According to the report, the apartment's drywall, living room window, couch, curtains, blinds and a plastic cup were all damaged by the shots fired into the residence.
The apartment sustained a total of more than $900 in damages, the report said.
There are no suspects in the shooting.
Goldsboro Police Chief Mike West said no further information was available at this time.
