DUDLEY -- The Southern Wayne Saints Booster Club is sponsoring a reverse drawing and auction at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Holmes and Lois Murphy Center on the University of Mount Olive campus

Grand prize is $5,000. Ticket holders must be present to win.

Tickets are $100 each and include dinner for two.

Southern Wayne SaintSound will provide entertainment.

The dinner will start at 6 p.m. with the reverse drawing following dinner.

Several items including a brand new Benelli shotgun will be auctioned off during the drawing.

Tickets will be available at the concession stand at all home Southern Wayne  varsity and junior varsity football games, volleyball and soccer games or by contacting any Booster Club member.

Southern Wayne Boosters Club is a non-profit organization comprised of parents of students that attend Southern Wayne High School with assistance from numerous coaching and staff members.

All money raised will go to Southern Wayne athletics.

Without the money raised by this once-a-year fundraiser students at the school would have very limited equipment and uniforms and go without many items that the Boosters Club provides all through out the year to all of the school's sports teams, club officials said.
