Wayne Community College Continuing Education has several classes starting that teach computer and occupational skills.
They include:
Banking 101 (Bank Teller), 6-9 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 26-Nov. 3, $70;
CompTIA Cloud+ Cert Prep (online), Sept. 20-Nov. 22, $180;
Computer Upkeep and Repair, 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Sept. 27-Nov. 22, $70;
Day-To-Day Spanish, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 19-Oct. 26, Mondays and Wednesdays, $35.
Introduction to Computers, 1-4 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 28 -Nov. 16, $70;
Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2013, 6-9 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 28-Nov. 16, $70;
Introduction to Microsoft Office 2013, 6-9 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 26-Nov. 21, $70;
Keyboarding II, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 22-Nov. 10, $70 (location is Woods Chapel Church);
OBD II Emission Control, 6-10 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 20 and 21, $70;
Residential Wiring, 6-10 p.m., Mondays and Tuesdays, Sept. 20-Dec. 20, $180;
ServSafe Food Safety Training, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, $180;
Supervision and Leadership Skills, 6-9 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 28-Dec. 14, $125; and
Web Design - Word Press (hybrid, i.e. partially online), 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 22 -Nov. 30, $125.
Students may register and pay fees at the Continuing Education Division's Customer Service Desk in the Walnut Building. Early registration is highly encouraged to guarantee a seat.
