Goldsboro police are investigating two incidents in which someone took items from Walmart on U.S. 70 West and returned them for cash.
A man and woman took an iPod case then returned the case as if they had purchased it and were given a gift card in the amount of $32.03.
In the second incident, a man entered the store with an old receipt for a previously purchased TV converter box. The man removed a new converter from the shelf and used the receipt to exchange the item for $49.89
