America entered World War II on December 7, 1941 when Japanese forces attacked Pearl Harbor. But Europe had already been at war for two years and the Pacific was at war years before that.
On Monday at 7 p.m. in room Walnut 101 at Wayne Community College, Dr. Roy Heidicker and Jim Hinnant will present a lecture titled "World War II Before Pearl Harbor."
The lecture will clarify the worldwide struggle underway before America joined the war. Understanding all that had transpired before Pearl Harbor is essential to understanding the kind of war that America was getting into.
The Foundation of Wayne Community College is pleased to present this lecture that is free and open to the public. On Monday, December 5, it will be presenting "The Attack on Pearl Harbor,"" also in Walnut 101 at 7 p.m.
