Man and woman charged

A man who fled from the scene after being approached by an off-duty officer in reference to several outstanding warrants was able to elude police Friday.
He was later captured following a tip to his whereabouts. Also arrested was the woman who was allegedly harboring him.
Michael Lamar Bellamy, 21, whose address is listed as streets of Goldsboro, is facing a string of 16 charges, including four felonies. He was jailed in the Wayne County Detention Center in lieu of a $65,000 secured bond.
Amaniyea T. Pridgen, 22, of 200 E. Lakehaven Drive, Apt. E, was charged with harboring a fugitive and placed under a $10,000 secured bond.
He was able to elude capture. But following the tip, a search warrant was secured and was executed by the Goldsboro-Wayne REACT Team (Goldsboro police SEU and Wayne County Sheriff's Officer ACE team), Goldsboro Police Housing Officers and patrol officers at 2306 Norwood Ave.
Bellamy was taken into custody without further incident.
He was charged on several outstanding warrants on the following charges: identity theft (felony); obstruction of justice (felony); three counts communicating threats; three counts of larceny; resist, delay, obstruct an officer; three counts of assault on a female; possession of stolen goods; interfering with emergency communications; second-degree trespass and injury to personal property.
A police press release did not specify where Bellamy was when he was first approached by the officer.
