A woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital Monday morning after her car was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Pecan Road and Arrington Bridge Road.
North Carolina Highway Patrolman C.S. Grainger said the woman was driving a white Toyota Camry south on Arrington when the driver of a green Z71 Chevrolet Tahoe failed to yield as he turned left off of Pecan and slammed into the side of the Camry. The Camry spun into the ditch and faced north, according to Grainger.
He said the woman was taken to the hospital, but the extent of her injuries remained minor. He said the two people in the Tahoe had no injuries.
