Two men allegedly attempt to steal more than $200 in food from Walmart

Two Goldsboro men are accused of attempting to steal more than $200 worth of food from the Walmart at 2908 U.S. 70 West on Saturday.

According to an employee of Walmart, Nathan Terry Bullock, 58, of 1200 Simpson St., and another yet-to-be-identified black man walked into the Walmart on U.S. 70 West Saturday an placed several food items in a shopping cart and attempted to leave the store without paying.

According to a report on the incident, the employee that reported the alleged attempted theft told police the men abandoned the items at the front entrance when they were confronted by employees.

The two men then got into a tan, four-door vehicle and left.

The employee told police he would secure warrants for Bullock's arrest, as well as the other man once he was identified.
