Model railroad display starts today

The Sipping and Switching Society of North Carolina model railroad layout will be at the Goldsboro YMCA gym Friday through Sunday, July 29 to 31.
It will be set up this evening, starting at 7 p.m., and will be open to the public all day Saturday, and Sunday until 3 p.m.
Admission is free, donations to the YMCA will be accepted.
"We will be setting up Friday evening, but folks could check out how it all goes together until the Y closes at 9 p.m.," society member Richard Raburn said. "The layout will be open to the public Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. when disassembly will begin.
