The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating a report of property damage to a woman's rental property after she evicted tenants from the residence at 3203 Central Heights Road, a police report filed Thursday says.
The owner of the property reported to police that she evicted residents from the property on July 12. She then checked the property on July 13 and took photos, and there was allegedly no damage. When she returned on July 14, she found two circular holes and one fist-shaped hole in the drywall of one of the bedrooms, a police report on the matter says.
The owner of the property told police that the window in the bedroom that sustained the damages was open and the side door to the property was unlocked, the report says.
